Responsible for the design and layout of a website. This includes the overall look

and feel of the site and the user experience.


Reporting to: Operations Manager.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities.

  • Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and goals for the website
  • Creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to present design concepts to clients and stakeholders
  • Designing the overall layout and visual appearance of the website, including the colour scheme, typography, and imagery
  • Ensuring that the website is optimized for user experience, including usability and accessibility  Developing and implementing the front-end code for the website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Ensuring that the website is responsive, so it looks and functions correctly on multiple devices and screen sizes
  • Collaborating with developers to ensure that the website is fully functional and integrated with any necessary back-end systems
  • Optimizing website images and other visual elements for fast loading speed
  • Staying up to date with the latest web design trends and technologies
  • Continuously testing the website to ensure compatibility and responsiveness
  • Knowledge of SEO, analytics and website performance to improve the website visibility and performance.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, conversion rate optimization and A/B testing can be added advantage.
  • Any other duty assigned.


Academic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in web design, graphic design, computer science, or a related field  2 years proven experience in a similar role



  • Strong design skills and knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong understanding of front-end web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Good understanding of responsive design principles and how to design for different devices and screen sizes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles
  • Understanding of SEO and web analytics
  • Familiarity with development tools such as Git, JIRA, and Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, conversion rate optimization and A/B testing can be added advantage.Strong customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software  Strong time management and organization skills  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
