Our client who is an Importer of Wrapped V-Belt, Cut-type, PK Belts and Timing Belts

is looking for qualified SALES EXECUTIVE. The location is in NAIROBI.

Sales Executive Responsibilities:

  • Business developments prospecting new leads, customers and create new territories to introduce the product line.
  • Customer visit as per proposed monthly itinerary with least 1 to 2 times provincial business trips per month.
  • Contribute incremental revenue in the company by upselling other stock items in the Kenya market.
  • Account receivable collections – follow up and payments for customers under COD and credit terms, maintain 80% of current transactions and at least 20% on 0 to 30 days aging.
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly Sales report dashboard to the Head of Sales & Operations.
  • Identify new product line in demand in the market.
  • Provide product technical presentation to customer enable to understand the value & benefits.
  • Screening of customer statement of accounts subject for payment follow-ups and controls.
  • Process customer sales quotation and order in ERP system.
  • Coordination of delivery to logistic department to identify transport courier services for smooth transit of the goods.
  • Prepare and propose business improvements in the assigned area.
  • Promote and sell-in the company brand in the market.
  • Market/field research by identifying the competitors’ prices and activities, proposes counter plan to take over the competitor’s market.

Sales Executive requirements and skills:


  • Single, 21 years and above
  • Graduate to any related business course.
  • At least 1-2 years’ experiences in sales related to Agriculture, Industrial and Automotive spare parts is an advantage.
  • With experience managing Distributor & Retailer related accounts.
  • Excellent in English verbal and written communication skills.
  • With experience in Advertising and Promotions is a plus.
  • Computer literate, preferably knowledgeable in MS Word and Excel.
  • Willing to travel in Rift Valley, Nyanza and Western provinces.


NB: 28,487.40 basic, gross salary subject to statutory & taxable deductions.

Quarterly target incentive plan.

Transportation & phone credit/data allowance.
