A client is looking for a professional to fill the position of sales executive. The main responsibility will be to sell printing plates and adhesive tapes to print and packaging companies, in addition to maintaining existing customers and growing sales.


Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Sell to target the plates and tapes
  2. Market our products
  3. Maintain effective communication with existing customers
  4. Maintaining good relationships with existing customers
  5. Convert prospective customers to regular customers
  6. Establish and maintain rapport with new customers
  7. Train customers on how to use products
  8. Respond promptly to customer enquiries and complaints
  9. Provide solutions to customers’ challenges with company products
  10. Prepare and file sales reports
  11. Follow up payments for products delivered
  12. Maintain a customer database
  13. Keep abreast with what is happening in the industry
  14. Safeguard company information

  1. Selling skills

  4. Draft detailed sales reports
  5. Able to interact well with people
  6. Work with minimum supervision
  7. Proficiency in IT
  8. Ability to analyse how the company could be affected by what is happening in the country e.g. politics, economy, drought, etc
  9. Negotiate with customers on prices of products
  10. Good understanding of print and adhesive technologies
  11. Communicate clearly the benefits of company products
  12. Good time management in a relatively fast paced environment
  13. Ability to convince prospective customers to switch to company products


Qualification and Work Experience

  1. Diploma or Degree in sales and marketing or its equivalent
  2. Between 25 and 32 years of age
  3. Worked at least 2 years selling in industrial Printing and packaging industry is a MUST.
  4. Relevant degree added advantage



Remuration : 50,000 to 70,000
