Our client who is in the Manufacturing sector is looking for an energetic, mature pipe fitter. The location is in Nairobi.
Job qualifications:
- 2 years’ prior experience in the field of fabrication.
- A Diploma/ Certificate in MECHANICAL ENGINEERING or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret visual orders.
- Technical proficiency.
- Valid certificate of good conduct is an added advantage.

- Must be creative
Responsibilities:
- Install support equipment like hangers, brackets, pneumatic equipment and hydraulic cylinders.
- Joining pipes using threads, soldering, brazing or cemented connections.
- Reading and reviewing blueprints and drawings.
- Assembling and installing tubes, fittings and non-metallic attachments.
- Threading and bending pipes using pipe bending tools and threading machines.
- Creating protective pipe layers using paints and other mechanisms.
- Inspect the worksite to ensure there are no obstructions to the pipe.
- Repair and modify the design if there are any holes or interference.
